The global award in photography and sustainability


The nominators for the Prix Pictet are a group of leading experts in the visual arts from around the world including directors of major museums and galleries as well as journalists and critics. They lead the global search for images of high artistic quality and narrative power and fit the theme of a particular cycle.

The group includes representatives from Frieze, the New York Times, the British Journal of Photography, the Tate (UK), Istanbul Modern (Turkey), Centre for Contemporary Photography (Australia), Foto Arte Brasilia (Brazil), Photo Festival of Phnom Penh (Cambodia), L’Hebdo (Switzerland), Jeune Afrique, Winterthur Photography Museum (Switzerland), Foteca (Cuba), Academy of Fine Arts (Poland), Reuters News Agency, Victoria & Albert Museum (UK), Aperture Foundation (USA), FotoSetiembre (USA), George Eastman House (USA), Pompidou Centre (France), The Globe and Mail (Canada), New York Photo Festival, and Beirut Exhibition Centre (Lebanon).
