Itzel Vargas is Head Curator at the Museo Universitario del Chopo, Mexico City.

Previously she has been Director of Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes (2010-2013) and Curator and Head of Visual Arts at Casa del Lago (2005-2010) in Mexico City.
