Daisuke Yokota was born in Saitama prefecture in 1983, In 2010, he won the Grand Prix at the 2nd “1_WALL” Photography Competition. and the Foam Paul Huf Award in 2016. In 2019, he won the 45th Kimura Ihei Photography Award. He has published numerous photo collections including “MATTER/BURN OUT,” “VERTIGO,” and “Tarachine.” His major exhibitions include “Site/Cloud” (2014) at the photography museum Foam, “SHAPE OF LIGHT” (Tate Modern, 2018)
